Yes, indeedy, on Monday afternoon I called a request for pest control support to our housing maintenance. This afternoon, we noticed a cage in a corner of the backyard along the fence -- amid Patty Kiki's garden! Actually, a visitor to our home (there to observe Tim's behavior) noticed a movement in said cage and asked what kind of pet we had back there. Huh? What cage, asked Queen Observant.
Guess what we have caught in BROAD DAYLIGHT:
Let this be a warning unto your little friends: The Allbritton Garage is off-limits! Violators will be prosecuted to the full extent of my power!
Photos courtesy of Patty Kiki, who bravely snapped away.
*** Please note that it was our surveillance of the cage that alerted us to the spider problem.

well, at least it is in a cage and NOT in the garage! Follow up question though, is it a catch and release program?
Mike says:
Couldn't this be a soft-shelled armadillo?
Ed. note: FIRED as a Family-order-genus identifier!
