Another Bilirubin/Weight Check...
LLGA's bilirubin level appears to have peaked...score of 12 today so, yes, she's a bit orange, but should peach-then pink-then pale up over the next few days.
---------------
Sunbathing Beauty:
in the back of the CR-V after a diaper change
with Aunt Erin on the patio swing
in a sunbeam inside my bassinet
--------------
Happily, LLGA is already surpassed her birth weight (was 7 lb., 11.0 oz. -- now 7 lb., 11.6 oz), which should help expedite the process.

Splish, Splash
Photos from Hospital Stay (8/25-8/26)
For Sand Crab:
Little Stork-bites...already almost faded.
Slightly out-of-focus foot.
The geneticist noticed that LLGA has little (and exceedingly unusual) triangles on her palms.
-----------------------------------

Spacious private room. Again, underwritten by the Cabinet Manufacturers of America.

When my right leg was finally walking-worthy...
Baby's First Manicure. (I was soundly scolded as I nicked her twice, even with the fancy magnifying clippers).
Aunt Patty Cake with Lucy.

Inhaling a sandwich from Subway as, quite frankly, Healthy Choice TV dinner (heated in a trailer by the parking lot as the "Nutrition Facilities" are undergoing a renovation at the hospital) just didn't hit the spot.
"$5 Foot-long".
Pretty pretty outfit:
Evidence that big-girl panties are magical...they are sized-to-fit no matter what size. Playing the role of the Sand Crab, I tromped off through the basement of the Naval Hospital to enroll LLGA in DEERS before our discharge from the hospital and returned, victorious.

3:03 p.m. and beyond (Aug. 24th)
6-minutes of pushing.
APC didn't faint.

The one on the left is an Ensign and Med Student...this was his 4th delivery. He is clearly delighted to be there.
The one on the right (giving Lucy a high-five) is a resident...he took over mid-way. Obviously, he's been here before.

Calling Ben...
Lucy "meets" Daddy.
multi-tasking
She's an expert nurser.

Pre 1500 on Sunday, Aug. 24th
As the hour grew near, the Crab Queen required some hand-holding.
