Sure, she looks innocent enough and nice to young children, but...
She's an ANIMAL about tidying up our planet.
Step #1: Pull EVERYTHING out of its hiding spots. At gunpoint, force 9-months-pregnant woman to SORT for hours and hours and hours.
Step #2: Take a photo of said forced work program to document just how HIDEOUS an idea this was.
This is why:
He's being an Ass Clown!
Step #3: Forget to pick up child from nursery school at prescribed time (11:30 a.m.) Actually, EVERY ADULT (3 in total) forget.
Step #4: Receive a phone call from his aide's agency at 11:50 a.m. telling you "I had another client and had to leave him in the school office." Crab Queen forgot/was late for the FIRST TIME IN TWO YEARS of C-boy's attendance. The shame and horror!
Step #5: GMK and APC fetch said child while CQ calls and mea-culpa's the nursery school director, who assigned the secretary to take him to the playground and be his aide.
Step #6: Spend another 5-hours + on the project with glorious results:
Stocked for 23 hr/wk of home program starting September 2nd.
Step #7: Post evidentiary photos on blog to prove to husband that it is really purged.
Proof that APC warrants a pseudonym-mod to "Auntie Awesomeness"!
Statistic: Thus far, in excess of 15 bags of donations made to Autism Spectrum Consultants to supplement some of their clients' programs/playrooms. Much more immediate than a yard sale and much more feel-good than Sand Crab's "Big Orange Chute".
Confessional: Morning outing with J-Crabs, APC, and GMK to Original Pancake House. So I guess there was cake-on-credit. (A Dutch Baby...yummmm).

Great effort, but . . . .
SHOW ME THE MONEY! (apologies to Cuba Gooding Jr.)
Not only are yard sales gratifying, they translate into cold, hard cash.
Methinks the Missus was daunted with the thought of haggling in espanol . . . . .
