Possums unite against the Crab Family
This morning's pest-b-gone tally: 2 opossums.
One in the garage cage and one in the backyard cage.
My new best friend, Javier, talked me down from my hand-flapping, shrill, "how-many-more-could-there-be?" He'll be back today and tomorrow and perhaps for the remainder of our tenancy.
Total thus far (2008): 3.
Total thus far (including 2007 figures): 9.
ICK!
Think our corner is some sort of super-highway for possum trafficking.
Another issue is that we are the very lone non-dog-owning yard in our cul-de-sac.
Must also report that Javier, having not consulted with me about disposal issues, informed me that he merely takes them to the canyons. It's a CATCH & RELEASE program.
Leading me to inquire in a tiny, pathetic voice, "Please tell me that this canyon is far away from "bis house"?"
