Two good deeds in one day, and it's not even noon yet.

First, I not-so-kindly but not unkindly required GMK to assist in decision-making on her flight arrangements back to IL. She wanted to mull the options but the CQ was having none of that. Found a reasonable ticket ("only 3 remain at this fare!") on NWA with a total travel time of 6 hours and 10 minutes (not bad at all) with only one connection (at MSP, not bad at all) with departure at noon and arrival at 8 p.m.

Most importantly, while we continue to lack any firm notion of the Combat Crab's return, we will get through the last already-scheduled IEP meeting and most-most importantly, return the long-suffering GMK to her long-suffering husband in time for their anniversary on June 12th.

Second, I (with not minor haranguing) drove in the rain and stood in the rain to submit proof of birthday and verification of residency (4 articles required for each boy) in order for the J-crabs to be considered for All Stars (little league). And the District 32 representatives were no-shows. Whomever is coordinating my MOTY nomination for calendar year 2009, please add this to the litany of sacrifice.
