Some days your team wins, some days your team loses, and some days...
Your crablet gets selected for All-Stars.
J-crab, Sr. made it.
J-crab, Jr. did not -- despite his generally superior-for-age skills and knowledge of baseball. Sadly, he missed more than 30% of the games and was ineligible for selection (I believe).

The Cardinals' play-off game was last night. Singular as it is single-elimination and they lost. Great play except one inning. 2-4 with the Peninsula Bruins advancing. Sniff-sniff. Jack struck out once (he was not alone) and hit a weird foul that curved fair right into the 1B's glove. Even the coach was bemused about the trajectory. Didn't see any balls in his fielding position.

Making up for not being able to comment for so long.
While I'm sorry that the games are mostly over, I'm glad that CQ has one less thing to shuffle now. Does that make me bad?
